Overview

Rabbi Gary M. Spero, J.D., author of Standing In The Blazing Light Of God, takes the reader on an exploration of the history and meaning behind the Tashlich ritual. This ceremony, done on the afternoon of either the first or second day of Rosh Hashana, by a body of water, symbolically expresses our desire to rid ourselves of sins and emotional/spiritual baggage for the New Year. A modern ceremony is presented for readers to use.
