Overview

Tank and the South Town Dogs to the Rescue is based on a true, heartfelt dog story about a military pet in a new city on the hunt for new adventures and playmates. It will take children and their families on his walks in his new neighborhood where he meets shy, shelter rescue dogs and learns the value of friendship. The book's illustrators are high-school students and includes an interactive maze creatd by a ten-year old who can't wait to get old enough to work in an animal shelter. The readers and listeners who join Tank on his journey will experience the reward of patience, the courage to overcome fear with kindness, and entertainment that also demonstrates the power of family, friends and community.
