The study of microbiomes and microbial communities has grown exponentially in recent years due to the amazing implications they have for things we, humans, care a lot about, such as health or the environment. This book, Systems-level modelling of microbial communities: theory and practice, brilliantly covers the latest advances in experimental and modelling techniques, which makes it essential for everyone from newcomers to the field to reputed experts. -Rodrigo Ledesma-Amaro, Imperial College London The study of microbiomes and microbial communities has grown exponentially in recent years due to the amazing implications they have for things we, humans, care a lot about, such as health or the environment.
