Author Information

Lauren Lynch-Novakovic is a Cleveland, Ohio, native with a background in social work, early childhood education, community organizing, advocacy, electoral campaigns and government. She has a Bachelor of Social Work, a Bachelor of Arts in Africana Studies, and a minor in Sociology from the University of Pittsburgh. She was the Field Director on the historical winning campaign of Pennsylvania State Representative Summer Lee in 2018. As a self-described community practitioner her passion for transformational change and healing has led her to massage therapy. In addition to professional pursuits she has reignited her love of poetry. Understanding the concepts of interconnectedness in all things and intentionality are an overarching guide for her life. She loves waterfalls, sunsets, cats, and llamas. Lauren also enjoys watching documentaries and falling down the rabbit hole of YouTube to learn about all of the things she doesn't know- have you ever heard of pangolins?
