Currently, she is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Civil and Built Environment, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), in Batu Pahat, Johor. She is also a professional technologist (P.Tech.) registered with Malaysia Board of Technologist. Her expertise is in solid waste management, waste recycling into building material and wastewater treatment. Dr. Noor Amira Sarani graduated with a PhD in Civil Engineering in 2019 from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. Currently she is working as Research Assistant at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Built Environment, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) in Batu Pahat, Johor, Malaysia. Her expertise and interest cover a broad scope of fields in environmental engineering which includes waste management, construction building materials and wastewater treatment. Associate Prof Ir Ts Dr. Shahiron Shahidan C.Eng. graduated in 2007 with a B.Eng. (Civil) (Hons.) from University Industry Selangor. After graduation, he was employed as Bridge Engineer at a consulting engineering firm for almost a year before making an academic career at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM). He obtained his doctoral degree at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM).
