OverviewThis book examines the current body of knowledge on sustainable entrepreneurship. Using network and content analysis, the author maps the structure of the research field and provides a systematic review. In this regard, network analysis is used to find evidence of thematically related clusters of publications and polarizing differences across the subfields of inquiry. In contrast, content analysis is employed to identify and address emerging gaps in the literature. In particular, after discussing mainstream contributions, the author focuses on pioneering research and predicts possible paths that might challenge researchers in the future. The author contributes to the ongoing debate on the definition and boundaries of the flourishing field of sustainable entrepreneurship, by offering critical insights and possible future development pathways derived from both quantitative and qualitative analyses.
