Reviews

The overall quality is excellent. Perhaps what makes the book particularly valuable is the fact that most materials included are ones not particularly familiar to the average teacher. This increases the possibilities enormously, and teachers should find this an invaluable resource as they develop units of study and identify materials worth purchasing. This book is certainly worth purchasing! Voya ...a solid compilation, buttressed by good background information and practical tips. Sure to be valuable for teachers and librarians serving youth and as a tool for the teaching of YA literature. Booklist
