"The language is very clear and understandable for all ages. This issue is of fundamental importance since child sexual abuse is one of the major causes of childhood traumas and psychological disorders that may not appear until adolescence or adulthood. If untreated, these will also extend until old age. And while the trauma may be treated, the memory remains forever. I effusively conclude this book is excellent and a must read! It brings clarifications and alerts...all concerned...preserving the physical, emotional, and psychological integrity and protection of children in their care. Roberta Machado, PhD, specializing in Family and Couples Therapy As a family therapist, I frequently work with parents who are unsure about how or when to have the ""stranger danger"" talk with their children. Such parents are appropriately concerned for their children's safety, but are also wanting to protect and preserve their children's innocence and sense of trust in the world around them. Other parents report having had the talk with their children, but fear their children didn't fully understand or didn't take the topic seriously enough, and may therefore still be at risk of falling victim to predatory behaviors. Consequently, I frequently look for effective tools and resources to use in my practice. Super Agents Safety Squad is one such tool I can now wholeheartedly recommend to therapists and parents alike. Kristie D. Hopper, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) As an educator for over 30 years, I appreciate the author's own poignant story which empowered her to write Super Agents Safety Squad and, in turn, the book truly empowers others. While focusing on the often-avoided topic of sexual abuse, easily relatable characters Tony, Lily, and Mrs. Grace teach kids how to be safe. The added introduction and resource list also help educate adults about this important topic. Hers is a mission worth joining... Sue Peterson, MS Education Administration"
