He has served as Vice President and Chairman, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health, Interfaith Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York. He has served as Associate Director of Psychiatry and Director of Residency Training at Harlem Hospital, Columbia University. As Vice President and Medical Director for Phoenix House he was responsible for the medical management of over 3000 patients.
