Recently inspired by her two young sons and their love of all things dirty, stinky and squirmy, H.D. is back at her desk creating stories that help children kindle their curiosity about the world. When she is not rhyming words, H.D. can usually be found tinkering in the kitchen or browsing the shelves of a local library. She currently lives in Nebraska with her charming husband and crazy kids! Anita C. Young is a Canadian American Medical Laboratory Scientist turned artist who strives to bring light to the struggles of mental health. In addition to creating visual metaphors using oil paintings, she creates cute animal memes to bring smiles to everyone. She has also recently obtained a BFA in graphic design and electronic arts and has begun a career as an illustrator.
