"Sticks and stones, written by Michelle Nicole Hobbs it is about finding freedom from past trauma. This memoir is her story of Australian country life, in the Wimmera, in western Victoria. Finding your voice matters, on the journey of spiritual discovery and healing from trauma in the past. We have all faced bullies, intimidation and abuse from time to time and on various degrees but there is hope in the presence of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God the bible. The bible is full of promises, keys, love and hope to overcome the pain of the past. When we discover our new tool kit, of life giving words it gives us the power to have victory and joy back into our lives. ""Sticks and Stones will break my bones and names will never hurt me"", is an old saying that is used to dispel the taunts of an enemy, we all know that names do hurt! However you have a choice to believe the lies or hold onto real truth of faith, hope and love. Forgiveness is the most powerful tool you have to overcome, real forgiveness only comes from the presence and power of the Holy Spirit and the Bible. David and Goliath is highlighted in this book as a battle of the ages, Michelle has drawn from the scriptures in 1 Samual 17, the bully and the boy and the battle of intimidation and has applied it to our lives in a way that makes sense and the insight when applied leads to a transformed life. Author Information

Michelle Hobbs a country girl at heart, who grew up in the Wimmera in Western Victoria. She is the eldest of 7 girls. She has been married to the love of her life Grant for over 34 years, is the mother of 3 adult children and mother in law of 1 son, she is a pastor, and friend. In her spare time she likes to be creative and spend time in the outdoors particularly on the waterways of Sydney and spending time with her loved ones. Michelle's interests are photography, creativity, and travel. She has a great sense of humour, along with warmth and vulnerability, is an authentic Aussie girl. She is a gifted speaker, leader and now author. Along with her husband they are the senior pastors of Revival Church Sydney.
