He has many interests, but best of all he likes Radio 4, books and music (even jazz). His books have won the Red House Children's Book Award, the Blue Peter Book Award for 'The Most Fun Story with Pictures', the Roald Dahl Funny Prize, and been shortlisted for the Guardian Children's Book Award. Kate Winslet is a hugely successful Hollywood actress with film credits including THE READER, for which she won an Academy Award for best Actress, ENIGMA, IRIS and TITANIC. Ross Collins is an award-winning illustrator who has worked on over 100 books, including titles by authors such as Michael Morpurgo, Julia Donaldson, Francesca Simon and Ali Sparkes.
