Overview

On his 21st birthday, Glenn spies his rogue of a grandad making his way through the throng of the party to where he stood at the bar. Gary lives on the foothills of the Lancashire Pennines with his wife and two teenage sons, his eldest daughter having flown the nest after university. Following a 32 year career in the corporate world, he took the opportunity to take a year out and realise his dreams of writing his first book and launch a career as a published author. He was born in Manchester, spending his formative years growing up in Oldham throughout the 1970's and has strong family ties with Dublin. He is a keen runner, FA football coach and a community volunteer.
