'My postman delivered the book on a sunny afternoon, I made a cuppa, sat outside and got drawn into times past. The tales are so compelling and although I had things to do I told myself I'd read just one more, and then just another one, and on! Took the book to bed to finish off! I enjoyed it all, although I have a particular fascination with Shepton Mallet prison - I lived in the shadows of its walls for some years and have visited both when it was a working jail and more recently as a tourist - so was thrilled to learn more. It's also interesting to see how murders, in particular, have changed - methods and weapons.
