Great Teaching Book! I have dozens of how to sketch books, but this one is the best ever. It helps you learn to draw and color in a fun way in a method that is easy to understand. I love this book and can't wait for his others to come out! Truly an activity book for all ages! You're taken from scribbling to using the grid method and studying a color wheel painted as marbles! You are shown how to observe and to use what you observe. All of it is approached as a fun exercise, and most of the time you won't even know you are learning. They illustrations are beautiful and lively as is the writing! Light-Hearted Fun! I have been following Charlie's artwork for some time and I was so pleased he decided to share some of his techniques in an activity book. This book is filled with fun lighthearted techniques and activities to reawaken your inner child and encourage you to create some art of your own. I love this book and can't wait for him to release more activity books!

"Charlie O'Shields is the creator of Doodlewash(R), host of the Sketching Stuff podcast, and a big kid at heart.
