OverviewIn the Pentland Hills, south-west of Edinburgh, diverse and abundant marine fossils of Silurian age are found. They are splendidly preserved as undistorted moulds, and occur in distinct palaeocommunities, succeeding each other through time and directly linked with changing environments.
