Reviews

These resources would be a particularly useful resource for TA/LSAs to support children's language skills, particularly in the areas of narrative, developing emotions and inference. I generally found them a helpful, fun tool to use for informal assessment or therapy purposes. - Kim Duesbury, Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, UK

Author Information

Kulvinder Kaur has received training in Applied Behavioural Analysis and has taught numerous children between the ages of 2-16 years for over a decade. Her work has been mainly 1:1 with both verbal and non-verbal children. Kulvinder has worked for a decade as a Team Lead on programmes, often involving creating and designing skill and lesson plans as well as resources. The Applied Behavioural Analysis curriculum covers mainly: language, communication, social, cognitive, functional and academic skills. Alongside her role as a Team Leader, Kulvinder has continued to develop her practical teaching skills by educating children with a diagnosis of autism in mainstream primary schools and in private practice, which has involved working with behavioural analysts, speech and language therapists and multidisciplinary teams. She is the author of 'Wordless Picture Books & Guide', published by Speechmark in April 2016.
