It is the account of her childhood sexual abuse and other horrific abuses. Through these experiences, the author also discovers her calling and how to help other survivors. She began her career as an In-Home Family therapist who worked for an agency contracted with Child Protective Services, providing therapy for clients involved in the legal system.
