Overview

"Sharing Heaven with You! In this inspiring version of Genesis Chapter 1, we are invited to see the Creator's supreme power, wisdom and generosity which shines forth in all created things. We delight with God by loving the humblest and simplest of things: northern lights, puppies, hockey games and love's first kiss. Beautifully illustrated with Canadian nature scenes, the message is universal: ""God saw everything that He had made, and indeed, it was very good."" Earth's crammed with Heaven, And every common bush afire with God; But only he who sees takes off his shoes... - Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Aurora Leigh"

Author Information

Linda Marie Michaud grew up in Preeceville, Saskatchewan, where she wandered the meadows by the Assiniboine River and relished her summers at the family cottage at Crystal Lake. She is the mother of six children and twelve grandchildren. As a high school and elementary teacher, she wrote many stories, plays and liturgies for her students. This is her first book. After living in several communities in Alberta and Saskatchewan, she has returned to the heaven of Crystal Lake to gather wild flowers and listen to the loons.
