OverviewSECRETLY PSYCHIC My Lifetime of Extra Sensory Perceptions By Mary Onnis Waid NOTE: Secretly Psychic is a revised/second edition of Closet Psychic This book reveals some of the more noteworthy of the author's several thousand psychic experiences. They include precognition, clairvoyance, astro-travel, mind reading, mental teleportation, interaction with spirits, 'exterior' physical control of her body, and a few other unusual events. The author has had several professional jobs in which her psychic ability was helpful: a child welfare social worker, an assistant professor and assistant dean of women at two universities, the top secret control officer at a Naval research laboratory, and a social science research analyst for the U.S. government. And as a wife, mother and now grandmother, her sixth sense has been greatly helpful many times over the years. At an early age, the author realized her sixth sense was unusual and considered strange. Not wanting to appear weird, she carefully hid -- even from her best friends - her psychic abilities. Her memoirs tell about hiding a lifetime of personal experiences with extra sensory perception (ESP). Now that she has divorced, retired and relocated, she is anxious to try to present her experiences with this sixth sense, hoping to help get psychic ability recognized as valid, publicly accepted and beneficial. If you are interested in the paranormal -- and especially if you have had what you realize is at least one event of knowing something which you could not have known except through some sixth sense, then you will probably find these totally true psychic experiences fascinating. AN IMPORTANT PROLOGUE This is an autobiographical memoir of one special, very secret aspect of my life: the results of my having a sixth - a psychic -- sense. It has always been a part of my life. Now that I'm retired and have moved to a new location, I no longer feel the need to keep my true experiences secret. My parents, only sibling and former husband have died and my children are grown and on their own with different surnames from mine. Thus, I assume there won't be anyone endangered or embarrassed by my admission that I have a sixth sense, an 'extra' sensory perception -- usually abbreviated as ESP . Throughout this book, in order to provide the reader with examples of events that 'psychically occur' for me, they are presented as actual words, which they never are. Whenever I tell of an ESP experiences in this manuscript, I am using words to try to express my psychic sensations -- which is the only way I know how to convey what was going on. Please know that nothing in this book has been fabricated or expanded from the absolute truth; I personally experienced all the events as presented. There have been at least a thousand more events that I knew were from my sixth sense, but those have been forgotten or seemed too insignificant to include here.
