Prof. Paul Burton has a long-standing interest in the theory and practice of public policy-making, with a special interest in planning and urban policy. He is currently exploring the emergence of a national urban policy in Australia and the translation of urban policy ideas from elsewhere – such as the UK’s City Deals approach – to Australian settings. Dr. Edoardo Bertone is a Researcher with a civil engineering background and a current focus on data-driven modelling, Bayesian Network and System Dynamics modelling applied to the water resources management, water-energy nexus, environmental healthand climate change adaptation fields.
