Overview

After realizing the dangers of The Terra World, a world of magic, darkness, and terror, the children continue their walk to The White Castle in hopes of finding refuge and answers. Jack's group is trusting in the words of Rika, and Will's group is trusting in Rosco. Soon, they will all learn the truth about The Terra World and their reason for being there from the rulers of The White Castle known as The Guardians, an elite group of powerful Terranians who follow the creed of maintaining peace in the universe. Whether to trust in these words or not, however, falls into the eyes of the children... ...whether to believe, or not to believe... ...to choose to stay, or dismiss it all as a dream, only to end up back home after a moment's rest?

Author Information

Born in San Antonio, Texas on April 15, 1992, I have loved to read, write, and create since I was little. I grew up riding horses, oil painting, and drawing. However, it wasn't until middle school when I was introduced to manga and graphic novels, that my interest in creating my own graphic novel series began to grow. In eighth grade, I drew a fan fiction comic book series out of sketch books using a pencil and colored pencils, and dedicated myself to finishing the story. I created a total of thirteen volumes, but it wasn't until a Christmas morning in high school that I was given a Wacom drawing tablet and my first Adobe program, Photoshop. When I became serious with creating my own graphic novel series, I formulated a completely original idea for a story. I then began using the computer to create professional graphic novels. When I first used Photoshop and the tablet software, I was frustrated as I found it challenging to look at the computer screen while drawing on the tablet before me. However, I never gave up, and kept working at it. I taught myself how to use the Photoshop program and tablet software and researched the works of other professional graphic novelists. All of this led to the creation of Scapekids. By Senior year in high school, I met a teacher who helped me learn how to publish and market graphic novels, and she introduced me to the Createspace team on Amazon.com. Since then, I have been working on Scapekids and have been advancing in my skills with newer Photoshop and other Adobe programs. I plan to create more graphic novel stories along the way. I graduated from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Arts and Technology. In college, I was a comic artist and illustrator for the student newspaper, and as a student, I developed my skills in various graphic design fields, including the 3-d world. Working in traditional art has helped me develop my skills as an artist, and I have advanced in many graphic design platforms. But it all started from my passion of creating graphic novel stories through writing and art.
