OverviewThis Comprehensive Conservation Plan (CCP) will guide the management of the San Joaquin River National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) for the next 15 years. The San Joaquin River NWR is one of over 500 refuges that comprise the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's National Wildlife Refuge System. The mission of the National Wildlife Refuge System is to conserve a network of lands and water for the conservation and management of fish, wildlife and plant resources of the United States for the benefit of present and future generations.
