OverviewProphetic tradition tells us that people who remember Allah's 99 names well will enter Paradise. Kids can learn the names gradually and develop their understanding of who God is and what He does. In Safa's Palette: Coloring and Vocabulary Book of Allah's Names, educator Ustadh Hatim Yousef defines 17 of Allah's names in a lucid English that readers young and old can appreciate. Each name is also inked in elegant thuluth script by award-winning calligrapher Usman Ghani. By learning their meanings, readers will gain understanding and names with which to call on God. And don't forget, this is also a coloring book with hand-drawn illustrations by Sanah Z. Shan, showing scenes of the oceanside, and lush flora, of Muslim home interiors, of mosques, and a bird's eye view of the Kaba, as well as motifs of seasonal change. Within most of these, the names are also subtly hidden, waiting for readers to discover them. While coloring, children will develop their hand / eye coordination, too!
