"I have loved having the Shepherd's edition of this children's Bible study. My daughter has loved getting both of our books and has enjoyed being able to color the same picture along with me. It has given us the opportunity to talk about the stories and the Bible lesson's together. It really is beneficial to have the Shepherd's version with your child. I really enjoy the separate study at the beginning of each chapter for myself to prepare and have more knowledge regarding what my daughter will be doing. It would be beneficial to all who want to share with their child. --Lauren, Amazon For me, this companion book to Rooted in the King's Garden: Children's Edition is what really sets the books above many others like it. I don't think any mama to young children would disagree that getting your own heart aligned and quieted to spend intentional time with the Lord prior to spending the intentional time with your children is a necessary, but oh-so-overlooked part of intentional parenting. This is where I think you can really see the heart the author has in writing these books----and it's so refreshing! Get both books, you will not be disappointed! --Consumer Mama, Amazon Wonderful!! The lessons are Biblically solid, the stories are entertaining, and the activities were enjoyed by my grandchildren. Having the Shepherd's guide helped me organize my thoughts before starting the book with the kids. The open-ended questions were great at sparking discussion. I can highly recommend this book along with its companion book for children. --Lisa, Amazon Exactly what I had hoped to find. . . books to teach my young grandchildren God's word that could hold their interest. Colorful pictures, cute characters and sweet stories keep them engaged and the games have them forgetting they are actually learning! My favorite part are the questions that accompany the stories. They have spurred great conversations and I am learning how they see the world through our talks. So fun! --Sharon Groomes, former preschool teacher, ""Gigi"" to five amazing grandkids . . . The Shepherd's Edition gives the adult beneficial advice about starting conversations with the child. I enjoy the Spotify QR Code link that takes you directly to the music. . . Well worth the price and can be worked on for several weeks. The stories for the children and the games are fun and keep them entertained for hours on end. I cannot wait for volume 2! --Lori Moxley, grandmother of two 7-year olds"
