Overview

The world is in crises and people are hurting. However there is hope and a light at the end of the tunnel. This book illustrates a way forward and highlights key areas that need focus, in order to maximize the effectiveness of words and actions. This book is about rising up. It is important to equip oneself to overcome the overt expressions of hate, that will come, as a result of putting ourselves in opposition to it. The battles that ensue from a sense of integrity, however, will only serve to solidify a strength of character. By remembering and embracing who we are, and practicing key elements of virtue, with consciousness and thought, we can come to understand of our innate power, harness our supernatural nature and bring about mental and spiritual healing for ourselves and others. It is our personal journeys through challenging experiences and emotions, that define who we are and what we become. The connections we make with others can both encourage and demoralize us. How we deal with others and sorting what to internalize and attribute to our own self image, is a necessary part of the human experience. Meaningful connections can help us through our bravest and most heartbreaking moments. However it is the difficult relationships and encounters that build resilience. Understanding our own stories helps us see what it means to be courageous and gives it meaning. This is a blueprint for how to respond to hate with love, both to save oneself and the world from the growing prevalence and destruction of behaviours plaguing our communities today. It is also a hope that others who are suffering abuse, will take heart and know they are not alone. This book is about rising up and is itself, a vehicle for rising up. A few chapters illustrate real life experiences of people who have experienced bullying and narcissistic abuse. These chapters demonstrate just how far those with a Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) will go, to exact harm on others. People suffering NPD are not only a risk to their own well being, but are creating havoc and harm to others, to our communities and to society as a whole. The author hopes to show us how to survive such evil and hate, by employing some of the key elements outlined in the book. This story challenges us to live life well, with a pure heart, with an awakened conscience and with great courage, in order to answer love's call to action, to combat hate, in a world that has gone mad. Through our own personal transformation, we have the tools to rise up in a different, more effective way, to change the world for the better. Ultimately Rising Up3 is having the courage and knowledge, in a benevolent spirit of faith and gratitude, with motives that have been purified with forgiveness and empathy, to speak up and tell our own personal truth, in a very powerful way.
