Torrence is the Transitional Pastor of the Federated Church of Livingston in New Jersey as well as Assistant Minister of Strategic Planning at Trinity Baptist Church in Brooklyn, New York. He teaches sermon development at New Brunswick Theological Seminary. He served as the pastor for Cross of Life Lutheran Church (1998-2018). He is a business manager for Princeton University.
