Reviews

Impressively well written, organized, and presented, Rethinking Everything: Personal Growth through Transactional Analysis is as informed and informative as it is thoughtful and thought-provoking. A seminal work of commendable research, Rethinking Everything is very highly recommended for community and academic library Psychology/Psychiatry reference collections, supplemental studies lists, and for personal reading empowering anyone seeking greater self-awareness, effectiveness, and control. -- James A. Cox, Editor-in-Chief, Midwest Book Review Rethinking Everything brings the field of Transactional Analysis into the present day. Neil Bright provides a thorough, well written, and documented work which offers the reader an opportunity to understand the theory, examine his or her own life, and make decisions toward a more fulfilling existence. In fact, since reading Rethinking Everything, the complex simplicity of Transactional Analysis has clearly contributed to my psychotherapy practice and is undeniably benefiting my patients. So if your plan to read any book on personal growth, I highly recommend Rethinking Everything as the one you should read. -- Dr. Arthur S. Weinfeld, Ph.D, psychologist Rethinking Everything is a well-researched and an extremely accessible read for anyone wishing to learn more about problem solving through Transactional Analysis (TA). Neil Bright has taken major TA concepts and integrated them well with commonly accepted explanations from other schools of psychological thought. He brings a contemporary manner of thinking about these theories and presents them in a lively way, keeping readers engaged in a process that invites reflection. -- Steff Oates, teaching and supervising psychotherapist specializing in Transactional Analysis
