80 percent of American Christians want to know more about poverty alleviation, abortion, cultural restoration, sexual identity, and religious freedom. American Christians don't always understand their own doctrines-or the doctrines of other denominations-even the ones they believe are essential. 42 percent of Americans identify with a different faith tradition than the one they grew up in. Evangelicals are moving to liturgical denominations. Liturgical believers are becoming evangelical-all while not understanding others' faith or even their own. Concern over religious freedom is growing among Millenials in the general population-not just Christians.
