OverviewThis second of four planned volumes in a series of reports to Congress and the U.S. EPA outlines plans for monitoring the progress of the research into airborne particulate matter and its effects on human health. Although it is too soon to assess the actual results of earlier research, the original 1998 recommendations have been reviewed and updated. This new report goes on to introduce additional criteria for evaluating the management and implementation of the research and describes future strategies.
