The group includes researchers and practitioners from a variety of different backgrounds including philosophy, visual art, digital media, theater, and performance. Since 2011, the group has collaboratively engaged with aesthetic theory, practice, and policy to develop new critical positions in aesthetics and related fields. The group collaboratively writes texts around which performances are enacted. This form of 'pedagogical performance' serves to explore the potential of performance as a mode of inquiry and as a vehicle for mobilizing philosophic and artistic concepts. The outcomes of this process including live performance and collective writing allow the dissemination of research across different registers.
