I have read the Kiyosaki books and taken to heart his views on good debt versus bad debt and that real estate can be especially rewarding. I have personally considered doing so but, in the end, decided otherwise because I knew there was SO MUCH I didn't know. I WISH I would have had this book then. Rental Property Investing is not a discussion of how great an opportunity this investment is; this book is the critical first step for those individuals who have made the decision to pursue this type of investment and need a step-by-step walk-through of the process from the first step to the last. The author pulls no punches on any aspect of the process. I am so incredibly impressed by how detailed and thorough Mathew Li Zahng is on the treatment of the subject matter. If you've made the decision to dive into rental property investing, do not take another step until you've read this book. Gives a good overview of rental property investing - have multiple rentals, both residential and commercial, and this book has valuable and accurate information that can save you a big part of the learning curve. I have kindle unlimited, but paid for the paid version of the book because there is definitely value there and the author deserved his share for providing it. Don't buy your first house without it Great primer for first time real estate buyers. All common pitfalls and scenarios are touched on. Time well spent reading it. I am interested in going into rental property investing one day and I think this book is perfect for a beginner like me. The book not only covers the basics of how and where to invest but it is teaching you how to build a real business from rental properties. It also talks about the common mistakes investors make. Overall, it's a pleasurable and very educational read. The book is well-formatted.
