Overview

This book is an examination of special relativistic and thermodynamic applications taken to a certain level of theoretical extremes. No conceptual mechanisms proposed in this book are absolutely prohibited by nature. Eventhough some of the more extreme examples may never be realized in any future finitely distant time interval, the fact that the proposed systems are not forbidden by nature can offer we as the Human Species open ended problems to solve as we work toward achieving these utterly extreme mechanisms in the depths of eternity. Part of the fun of working toward a grand goal is that if such a goal can and ever will be achieved, no matter how distant a prospect of such achievement is, there is always another more profound and distant goal to be attained. Since physical eternity is open ended, we have never ending possibilities to realize and goals currently un-heard-of to look forward to as mystical possibilities yet to be imagined. This is the second volume of a new series of books I am writing on totally extreme relativistic rockets able to attain totally extreme gamma factors is designed to take the conservative readers and theorists out of there comfort zones to ponder virtually intangible relativistic rocket gamma factors. In this book, I go to good levels to provide very numerous specific computed examples while explaining the math. I also go to good lengths to explain the caveats for the rockets to work and offer logical explanations based on physical principles with some quantitative values included on how the caveats may be met. The conceptual focus in terms of systemic configurations I believe is completely novel. The anticipated and computed gamma factors are likely completely novel because no other theorists I believe take the possibility of my conjectured gamma factors seriously. Relativistic rockets serve a primal need among starship enthusiasts for grounding in known and common physics paradigms and the need to feel that we can do something great with the concepts we already apply, albeit, on a much more limited scale, in the form of obviously non-relativistic chemical rockets and ion rockets.
