This three-volume series on Asian diaspora Christianity arrives at a prime time during the rise of the church in the Global South and the emergence of an Asian Indigenous missionary movement to the world. This volume is an invaluable collection of theological reflections of Asian diasporas for the Asian church to begin its long journey to address the many global and complex issues ahead."" --David Ro, Regional Director of East Asia, The Lausanne Movement ""Migration and mission are of utmost importance to the biblical faith. It may be right to say that without migration, perhaps, the biblical faith--the Jewish as well as the Christian faith--would not have come into existence. Migration and the diasporic life of the people of God are foundational for the expansion and establishment of the Christian faith and also for the final formation of one new human in Christ in the world without dividing walls of separation--the ultimate goal of God's mission in the world. I congratulate Dr. Sam George for taking up this project."" --Simon Samuel, Professor of New Testament and Christian Origins, New Theological College, Dehradun, India The Asian experience of migration is unique not only in its outbound magnitude in scale, history, and influence on the adopted societies but also in its internal and inbound migration.
