OverviewCurrently, recycling of e-waste can be broadly divided into three major steps: (a) disassembly: selectively disassembly, targeting on singling out hazardous or valuable components for special treatment, is an indispensable process in recycling of e-waste; (b) upgrading: using mechanical processing and/or metallurgical processing to up-grade desirable materials content, i.e. preparing materials for refining process, such as grinding the plastics into powders; (c) refining: in the last step, recovered materials are retreated or purified by using metallurgical processing so as to be acceptable for their original using. Four topical areas are planned including one special session on the recycling of batteries. Papers in the following topics will be welcomed: Mechanical recycling of E-WastesRecycling of plastics from E-WastesRecovery of metals from E-wastesHydrometallurgical recycling (leaching) of E-WastesCombustion or pyrolysis of E-WastesLife cycle and economic analysis for the recycling of E-Wastes Full Product DetailsAuthor: Kejing Zhang , Gregory K KrumdickPublisher: Wiley-Tms Imprint: Wiley-Tms ISBN: 9786613397614ISBN 10: 661339761 Pages: 117 Publication Date: 12 April 2011 Audience: General/trade , General Format: Electronic book text Publisher's Status: Active Availability: In stock We have confirmation that this item is in stock with the supplier.
