Reviews

"""FINALLY - A business primer that consolidates all essential ingredients for success in a single resource for time-challenged managers of small and mid-sized organizations."" Amy Veltri, Founder and CEO, NGE Consulting ""Dan has an insatiable desire for knowledge and understanding of best business practices, and an even greater desire to share his knowledge and wisdom with others. In Recipe for Business Success, Dan incorporates all his learnings into a HOW-TO summary. Dan's wisdom to acknowledge and express that no two businesses are alike enables the reader to feel comfortable with their own model, while assessing the highest, best value for everyone's learning needs. We agree that Recipe for Business Success is a must read for business leaders to realize the significance of the convergence of Culture, Strategy, and Execution."" Lisa and Barry Allen, former CEO and Chief People Officer, Ziegenfelder Company ""Seeing the knowledge and wisdom my team at ASCEND and I have absorbed over the years as part of an easy-to-digest book makes me excited for the growth and success that any reader and their organization are likely to see. Whether you are at the helm of a multi-national enterprise or a scrappy, local non-profit, Dan's recipe is surely one to follow."" Alex Bernstein, Co-Founder, ASCEND Summit LLC ""The underlying concepts set forth in Recipe for Business Success are based on a number of business management theories set forth in complex works most often written by academics and large public company advisors and managers, limiting their usefulness to the management teams of small and medium-sized privately-held businesses and other smaller entities. Dan does an exceptional job of reducing these important and meaningful theories to a more understandable and targeted level, thereby providing an easy to utilize roadmap for managers and owners of these entities."" Robert J. Grossman CPA, MS, CVA; Co-Founder/Partner, Grossman Yanak&Ford, Tax & Business Valuation Services ""At some point in time a leader interested in growing their business realizes they need a solid strategic plan. This book simplifies and amplifies the path one would choose to take as they set course on their journey to growth and greatness. Jim Landino, Founder and CEO, JCL Energy ""Having the privilege of leading the employee-owned business that was the breeding ground for much of the content of this book, I can whole heartedly recommend it to those leaders of small to mid-sized enterprises looking for a practical and scalable approach to guiding their organizations to success. Dan's imprint on the culture and success of KTA-Tator is a testament to his passion, knowledge and commitment to the principles expounded in Recipe for Business Success."" David McFayden, CEO, KTA-Tator, Inc. ""Having been familiar with Dan for several years, it is a pleasure to have a book from an author that has not only practiced what he is now preaching, but has implemented to an exceptionally high level."" Robert J. Powell, Founder & CEO, Invictus Leadership Group; Chair, Vistage Worldwide ""Dan Adley has written a thoughtful analysis of how to develop a great culture and an effective strategic planning process. It's not filled with platitudes, but rather nuts-and-bolts tools you can use to help your company define its mission and vision and achieve them."" Corey Rosen, PhD; Author; Founder, National Center for Employee Ownership"
