Overview

"Rebuilt Recovery - Christ-centered recovery mixed with discipleship!Rebuilt Recovery is a journey with God through His plan for healing. People completing Rebuilt find freedom from: Addiction, Abuse, Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Rejection, Shame, And other life issues. No one takes a drink thinking they will become an alcoholic or enter a relationship expecting it to become abusive. No one realizes the downward fade before becoming trapped in depression or anxiety. People get stuck by believing lies of insecurity, regret, and shame. They often struggle with unspoken beliefs that they are a failure, rejected, unlovable, not good enough, or missing something in life. To be grounded in truth that can set you free, you must know the truth in your life. Rebuilt Recovery changes the way you think about God, yourself, and others, using scripture and the leading of the Holy Spirit to identify the false beliefs, lies, and problematic thinking patterns that keep you stuck. A Rebuilt Recovery journey is not a 12-step program. It is a cooperative effort with the Lord focused on building healthy relationships with God, yourself, and others. Relationship with God: Provides the solid foundation needed to trust and respond to Jesus as you walk through trials, and it gives you the ""mind of Christ"" to become humble, step out of denial, overcome doubt, and think on truth and discard lies. Relationship with yourself: Knowing your identity in Christ gives you a healthy, biblical, love for yourself, and confidence by trusting God's ability to work in and through you. Relationship with others: God made us for relationship, yet people can either sharpen us or destroy us. As you become healthy, your relationships with people will also become healthier. The Result You will find hope, purpose, abundant life, and true freedom walking with the Lord! You see yourself through God's eyes rather than a lens of past mistakes and failures. You have confidence in your ability, purpose, and future. You learn to communicate with confidence and face conflict without fear or condemnation. Your relationships become healthier. You have tools to prevent a fall into old strongholds, addictions, destructive thoughts and behaviors! Getting Started on Your Journey The Rebuilt books are your GPS guide through scripture. Your travel with the Lord and your Rebuilt coach. All you will need are your Rebuilt books, Bible, and journal. Book One - Getting Started The first book prepares the path for your journey taking you through a deep understanding of what it is to walk in faith, build trust, and deals with the topics of denial, doubt, and surrender. Book Two - Relationship with Self This book uses scripture to examine your heart and the path of your life. You will be able to see unbiblical and problematic thinking that has damaged your life and distorted your image of yourself. Book Three - Relationship with God This book covers being in a right relationship with God and your identity in Christ. It helps you identify and remove lies and shame. Book Four - Your Journey Home In this book you will learn skills to prevent relapse, grow healthy relationships, communicate well, and engage in healthy, biblical conflict."

A Rebuilt Journey For me, the most impactful thing was how my Rebuilt coach took my hand and God's and joined them repeatedly. It was like I was being trained to reach for Him and depend on Him instead of my old ways. Rebuilt helped free me from old endings to old stories, so I could create new endings and new beginnings. I found God, not just at the end of the road, but from the very first step. Summer C. I began this journey when I realized I just couldn't do it on my own anymore. I didn't have the tools to get the healing I needed, and I didn't know how to get there. The biggest impact of my journey has been knowing the truth of who God is and who I am and applying those truths to my life, not just knowing them but allowing them to be a living part of who I am! Truly understanding my identity in Christ is what freedom from bondage really looks like. Now Ilive and walk in that freedom! Alysha A. I was a prideful, insecure, ashamed, and shut down person with a head full of knowledge and a bankrupt heart. I couldn't bare the pain and loneliness I felt inside. I cried out to God and promised Him I wouldn't quit if only he would help me. I was skeptical when I began my journey, but Rebuilt equipped me with God's truth and challenged me each day to trust that truth. The more I opened my heart to believe His word was for me, the more God's love poured into my soul, expelling the pain and loneliness I felt, and filling my heart with a sense of well-being and joy. Cindy V. I had spent decades plagued by the fear of the person I was inside and someone seeing that person. I couldn't look God in the eye. I couldn't escape the fear and shame that I was condemned and going to hell. But my wife had been on a Rebuilt journey, and the dramatic changes I saw in her helped me feel safe enough to expose my deepest darkest secret to her. This was my turning point. I started my own Rebuilt journey and, for the first time, I found hope when I met the God I'd always heard about. I knew He forgave me. My relationship with the Lord grew throughout my journey. The lust, that secret that had robbed me all my life, diminished to nothing and the fear and shame melted away. Justin C. I found myself at a dead end and failed life. I've been a Christian most of my life, regularly attending church, a serious student of the scriptures, secure in my prayer life, and believing I had a strong faith in the Lord. I thought I knew what God wanted for my life, and I went after it with all my heart. 31 years and two divorces later, I questioned everything I thought I knew about life and God. I did everything the Christian books and pastors told me to do, yet I didn't see the results I prayed and believed for. This is where my Rebuilt journey began, broken, disillusioned with life and God, and trapped in serious denial. I discovered I didn't know what really mattered to God, and I was using God as a formula to get things to work out how I wanted or thought was best. No amount of faith would force God to do things my way. I wanted God to fix my marriages, but He wanted to fix me. I thought I needed healing from divorce, but I really needed to get free from my wrong thinking. Thanks to the Lord's work in me through my Rebuilt journey, I finally understood what I was missing and found the healing I really needed. Sue B.

Author Information

"Heather Phipps is a believer and follower of Jesus Christ, Christian minister, wife and mother of two adult children. Since giving her life to Christ in 2000, she served in many ministries. Her heart has always been to serve others and share God's love with them. She served in drama ministries and on the mission field. When her children were young, she helped start a ""Missions at Home"" ministry for Children to learn to serve others in their circle of influence. As her children grew, she chose to homeschool her children to give them a biblical foundation. She helped start an educational co-op for homeschooled children and was very active in the homeschool community. Heather's heart to love people was born out of her personal struggles and God's radical mercy, grace, and guidance that delivered her out of broken religion into a real and thriving relationship with Jesus. It was a major turning point in her life when she realized she knew all about God, but didn't ""know"" God, just like the people in Matthew 7:22-23. This realization made her seek the Lord in a new way, and He took her on a recovery journey, accompanied by deep biblical and psychological studies. Heather learned how to live free of the fear and shame that once consumed her. She found confidence and overcame a fear of rejection and failure. The Lord gave her gifts of discernment and wisdom to understand His ways, and a calling to mentor others to find the same freedom. In obedience to that calling, Heather co-founded and serves as an apostle for The Hope of Ruth Ministries Church in which she ministers, plants churches, and raises up leaders in the church. She started Rebuilt Recovery, where she serves as a recovery pastor, Rebuilt coach, and Christian consultant. She has also authored and co-authored many courses for T.H.O.R. Academy including ""Digging Deeper"", ""The Jewish Jesus"", and ""Rebuilt for Life""."
