Author Information

James Lepree is an adjunct assistant professor of history at City College of New York. He holds a Ph.D. in early Carolingian monastic and patristic exegesis and an M.Phil. from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, as well as an M.A. in early medieval history and B.A. in ancient history from Rutgers University. Dr. Lepree has authored numerous articles and specialises in the translation of 9th century Carolingian texts.
