Overview

Miriam Horn worked for the U.S. Forest Service on timber management, mine reclamation, and education before becoming a journalist. She spent fifteen years writing for U.S. News & World Report, The New York Times, Smithsonian, and other publications before she joined the Environmental Defense Fund. As an author and co-author, she writes about environmental issues. Chris Andrew Ciulla is a versatile performer who has narrated over four hundred audiobooks in genres including science fiction, fantasy, thrillers, and romance. The recipient of five Earphones Awards, he has won a SOVAS, an Odyssey, and an Audie. He particularly excels at narrating sports-related nonfiction due to being a former sports radio host and a recurring sports-show guest. In addition to narrating audiobooks, he does frequent film, television, video-game, and commercial work.
