Reviews

Rainforest Frogs is a delightful book with a serious message. Frog populations have been declining worldwide at unprecedented rates which results in irreversible consequences to the earth's ecosystems. This book brings to light a variety of frogs with wonderful illustrations by Mark Lerer. The Haiku poetry by Caley Vickerman is a creative introduction to each frog that is then followed with a more detailed, but brief paragraph of frog facts. Combining art and poetry is an effective and interesting way to educate. This imaginative book is appropriate for both children and adults and anyone who is interested in spreading the word about the importance of frogs. - Lee Muslin
