Overview

Fluid flow research is a rapidly growing technological field, with extensive research in many areas. This compilation of technical papers explores recent avenues of research in magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flows - and the different aspects of both electroconductive and nonconcudvtive fluids - in one complete volume. Drawing from the Eight Beer-Sheva International Seminar on MHD Flows and Turbulence, Branover and Unger review more than 65 technical papers covering such topics as turbulent flows, energy conversion, and hydrodynamic and MHD flows. Held every three years since 1975, the Beer-Sheva seminars are widely recognized for their research-oriented focus as well as for the forum for information exchange throughout the international community.
