Excerpt from Proceedings of the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia, 1858 Resolved, that the Academy will establish a permanent fund, to be called the Publication Fund, the principal of which shall always be kept invested in good securities, and the interest accruing thereupon shall be applied to the payment of the expenses of publishing such mat ter stated or occasional, as the Academy may think proper to issue.
