Currently, she is a professor at PPG Institute of Technology, Coimbatore. Her area of interest includes Signal processing, and VLSI Design. Dr. João Manuel R S Tavares has a BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering, MSc and PhD Degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Habilitation in Mechanical Engineering. He is Editor-in-chief of the Computer Methods in Biomechanics and Biomedical Engineering: Imaging & Visualization and Computer Methods in Biomechanics and Biomedical Engineering journals, and Editor of the book series Lecture Notes in Computational Vision and Biomechanics.
