Overview"Environmental studies is a multidisciplinary field which studies human interaction with the environment. It brings out physical sciences, life sciences, commerce, economics and social sciences together so as to solve contemporary environmental issues. The filed encompasses study in basic principles of ecology and environmental sciences. Environment or ecology means surroundings in which we are living and their interaction. Ecology, the term derived from Greek word ""Oekologue"" is the part of environmental studies in which one studies about living organisms, and non-living entities.
