Overview

On March 4th, 2018, Herve Jaubert's yacht the Nostromo was attacked in international waters by 3 Indian warships backed up by 20 commandoes, helicopters, and high-speed boats. On board was a VVIP passenger, Princess Latifa the daughter of the Emir of Dubai. Jaubert immediately tackled one of the commandoes but was quickly overwhelmed in the struggle and beaten unconscious. His passenger fought back bravely but her efforts were in vain. Seven years of planning of her escape had led to this dramatic moment and with only 50 miles to go, it was one of the most highly publicized attacks in the history of Maritime Law.
