Overview

"Jesus discipled the twelve and the seventy through a unique method which seems to be missing in the Church and Bible Seminaries today. Twenty-first century Christians equate discipleship and equipping the saints with accumulating knowledge through bible study. But our Lord Jesus Christ was more action oriented, practical and his disciples learned by doing as he did. He had them listen to him and observed after which they were sent out to preach the Kingdom, heal the sick, baptize new believers (John 3:22, 4:1-2), cast out demons; albeit not always successfully (Matthew 17:14-21), and Jesus used those opportunities to teach them even more.
