High school freshman, Riley, finds herself in a new world as she begins this school year after the loss of her mother in a tragic rodeo accident. Travis, Riley's father, struggles to cope with the loss of his wife and the bills associated with running a ranch on one income household. After being laid off from work, he's forced to consider selling what he can to stay afloat, including his late wife's horse, and Riley's only connection to her mother. If Riley's struggles weren't enough, Amber, the girl we love to hate, a high school senior, bully's and pushes Riley to her breaking point, and she is forced to make a decision... Tuck tail and run, or fight back.
