Overview

"The Emotion of our Lives in Rhyming Time As you immerse yourself in Carol Ostrow's latest collection of poetry, Poems in Motion...with Much Emotion, you'll discover gems of wisdom, moments of laughter, and a profound appreciation for the human experience of a life well lived. The poet's language is both lyrical and relatable. Her verses resonate with readers, evoking empathy and understanding. Divided into seven distinct parts, each section delves into a different facet of our emotional landscape. ""Better Life"" explores the longing for improvement, the pursuit of dreams, and the quest for a brighter future. In ""Appearance"" the poet reflects on how our perception of ourselves, and others shapes our emotions. ""Self-Esteem"" delves into the delicate balance of self-worth. ""Friendships"" is a tapestry of emotions-joy, loyalty, betrayal, and forgiveness. ""Aging"" reflects on the passage of time. Anger, frustration, and passion collide in these fiery poems in ""Raging."" And words ignite the pages in ""Love & Joy,"" the heartbeat of existence. Carol Ostrow is an accomplished theatrical producer in New York City. She has produced shows on Broadway such as The Anti-Defamation League and Broadway; Hand In Hand Against Hate for 100 Years as well as I Am Anne Frank, the Musical at Town Hall. She has produced many award winning Off-Broadway shows including A Room Of One's Own, starring Eileen Atkins, After-Play by the late great comedienne Anne Meara starring Jerry Stiller, and Rita Moreno as well as Forbidden Broadway, Beau Jest and many, many more in New York, around the United States and Europe. For the past 10 years she has served as the President of the Actors' Temple, raised money for its renovation, creates videos and produced over 30 theatrical fundraisers and still counting. Carol also runs a licensed group sales ticketing agency for Broadway/Off-Broadway shows and when she finds the time, writes poetry for the love of words and all their meanings."
