Tina Whalen has experienced opposite extremes in her life, from wealth to poverty. Government fiscal policies in the late 80s/90s destroyed her independence and businesses for a while, a time when she found herself going from millions to zero. She understood at this time how easily, through no personal fault, one can lose personal security and health and even their identity. She saw the poor and homeless on the streets as heroes, because she also felt like one, trying, with great difficulty, to rebuild her life and make it great again. Her resolve and hope were the keys to a great comeback, through education and goals cooperation in place of rebellion, defeat and hate. Tina Whalen has volunteered most of her life and worked with others to build a better and more empathic and humane society. She now hopes to complete her PhD thesis. She's a cancer survivor and has written this book at age 80.
