Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationJulie Hedges is a graduate of Liverpool Art School, now John Moore's University, where she specialised in woven textile design. She worked in the Textiles Department at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design, Farnham until 2000, when she left to set up her studio in Worcestershire. In 1989 she started to explore and develop the technique of ply-split braiding and furthered her researches during two visits to India in 2004.
